It's the Astronomy Online non-Blog, or un-Blog.
Everyone has a blog now and since I am no follower of trends, I decided to merge the blog with the website. And I don't want to neglect the website in favor of posting on the blog.
These are the pages that were on the blog of old:
- Home
- Archive (Index of Pages)
- Me
- Current Trends
- Links
- Soho Live
Links:
Google Maps - Mars
Google Maps - Moon
HiRISE
HiRISE - MRO Imaging
Mac Singularity

Pacifica by Moonlight:
It is very rare to have a clear night in Pacifica with a full moon. On those nights, the full moon can lighten the waves to a sparkle, but it works best when there have been a few days of calm. What happens is seafoam stays on the water longer. This provides a nice reflective surface.
This image was taken with my Nikon 995 Coolpix. The ISO setting was set at 400 and the shutter open to 8 seconds. PhotoShop and Neat Image provided the processing and cleanup.
